Bob Davis learned from his father , Harold that our people
came from England to Wales. John came to Philadelphia in
1669. Another or the same "John" was a minister and attended
Oxford University.
Some Davises were
in Vermont. During the Revolutionary War,
they saw the great tillable soil in Allegany Co.,NY and
brought their
families out. Timothy Mosher Davis and Harold
thought Maria Rice Davis's Mother, Sarah Hoyt, was Indian.....
