Timothy and Carrie lived near Fairview, where 5 roads
converged. Timothy began to sell groceries on a small
scale, then , his business grew. Later, they farmed in Concord,Northwestern,Pa. Eventually,they bought a nice
home in Elgin with a mill.They used the mill as a barn.

Carrie was said to be a happy,good-natured person.Timothy
was handsome in his youth,with black hair and blue eyes.
